RWE Innogy took over the Taciewo onshore wind farm in Poland from Gamesa. Situated in the northeast of the country and developed by Gamesa, its 15 wind power systems add up to a total installed capacity of 30 megawatts. The commissioning of this wind farm grows the Polish wind portfolio of RWE Innogy to an installed capacity of 152 megawatts.
"Taciewo and 152 megawatts now mark the midpoint of our Polish development targets. We intend to operate about 300 megawatts in Poland in 2015. Owing to the excellent Polish wind sites, we are on a good path and intend to continue our investments here. At present, our Nowy Staw wind farm with a capacity of 39 megawatts is under construction. It is due to be commissioned early in 2013“, explained Dr. Hans Bünting, CEO of RWE Innogy.
