Mako Hydrocarbons Ltd. advise the market on its progress with well completion operations in Provost, Alberta.

The third Provost well in the current three well drilling program, located at 103/11-02-40-04 W4, finished drilling on Monday, June 4th to a total measured depth of 1,493 meters. All three wells in this program have now been successfully cased and completed, with completion operations on the last well finishing on Sunday, June 10th.

Due to recent inclement weather in the Provost area, construction of gathering systems to tie-in the new wells and installation of planned battery upgrades to facilitate waterhandling and increase oil productive capacity, has been briefly delayed, but is expected to commence next week. Production from these new wells is expected to come on-stream in early July, as scheduled.
