David Diamond - AMPOL

American Pollution Control Corp. (AMPOL) has hired David Diamond as Industrial Services/Operations Manager.

Based in AMPOL’s Harvey, La., facility, Diamond will oversee several service areas including tank cleaning, oil spill response, confined space entry, Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM), lead and asbestos abatement, hazardous materials and emergency cleanup, soil remediation, demolition and marine transportation. He will also be actively involved with the manufacturing of AMPOL’s spill equipment products.

Diamond has worked in the environmental cleanup sector since 1989 and managed many emergency response situations in his career. He served as project manager for the plant cleanup effort following the IMC Sterlington explosion in 1991. Diamond was also involved in the largest arsenic triazicide recovery in U.S. history located off Cape May, near New Jersey, where the crew used Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) to recover the arsenic triazicide.
