Transocean Ltd. issued a monthly fleet update summary which includes new contracts, significant changes to existing contracts and changes in estimated planned out-of-service time of 15 or more days since May 15, 2013. The value of new contracts or extensions since the May 15, 2013 fleet update summary is approximately $262 million.

Highlights are as follows:

GSF Explorer - Awarded a one-year contract for work offshore India at a dayrate of $412,000 ($150 million estimated backlog). The rig was previously idle.

Sedco 704 - Awarded a six-month contract extension at a dayrate of $373,000. Additionally, the dayrate for the existing two-year contract increased to $373,000 from $353,000 (estimated $80 million of incremental backlog).
