UniversalPegasus International appoints Hitt as Senior Vice President of Quality

UniversalPegasus International (UPI), a world leader in engineering, project management and construction management for the energy industry, has named Bobby Hitt as Senior Vice President of Quality, announced UPI Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Philip Luna.

Hitt’s duties include setting the strategic direction for UPI’s Quality program and raising the bar for executing world-class international projects. Additionally, he will be responsible for nurturing a genuine Quality culture; training and mentoring project level Internal Auditors; and streamlining linkages between projects and the corporate Quality Management System (QMS).

Hitt joins UPI from SK Engineering & Construction in Seoul, South Korea, where he was the Package One Project QA Manager for Aramco’s $19 billion “Wasit Gas Plant Construction Project” in Saudi Arabia. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing the Detailed Engineering and Procurement phases of the project. His QA/QC experience stems from an extensive career in heavy industrial, Petrochem, Nuclear and Infrastructure construction as well as Business Process Improvement.
