Jura spuds Jamali deep 1 well in Pakistan

Jura successfully spuds Khanpur 2 well in Pakistan

Jura Energy Corporation announced today that drilling has commenced at the Jamali Deep 1 well located in the Badin IV North Block.

The projected depth of the well is 3,870 meters, which will target the Basal Sands of the Lower Goru formation.

Jamali Deep 1 is the second of nine committed exploration wells in the joint venture’s exploration program.

Its a great oppurtunity for Pakistan and the company to explore untapped reserves in Pakistan. If success follows we hope this will help reducing the gas shortage in Pakistan.
