Lion Energy spuds Lofin-1 exploration well in Indonesia

Lion Energy Corp.

The LOFIN-1 exploration well being drilled on Seram Island in Indonesia is drilling ahead in 12 inch hole at a depth of 2,939.3 metres (9,644 feet) MD as at 24:00 WIT 20 March 2012.

Current operations are to continue drilling 12 inch hole to approximately 3,350 metres (10,990 feet)and set 9 5/8 inch casing, prior to drilling out into the well's primary objective the Manusela Carbonate at depth 3,328 metres (10,918 feet).

The LOFIN-1 exploration well was spudded on 17 January 2012.
