SPE receives special recognition from Dubai Government

Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE)-3

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) received special recognition from the Dubai Government during Al Safeer Annual Recognition Event organised by the Dubai Convention and Events Bureau on Monday, 3 June.

The SPE Middle East, North Africa, and India office was recognised for bringing the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) to Dubai in 2016, which will help promote tourism and trade in the city.

In accepting the award, Waleed Refaay, managing director of SPE Middle East, North Africa, and India, said, “ATCE 2016 will be a success story for Dubai and the global oil and gas community given the city’s reputation as global business capital, and SPE’s standing as the largest association of upstream oil and gas professionals in the world.”
