Verdande Technology reported the release of version 3.5 of DrillEdge™ software. The new release offers a differential sticking solution, adding to the major drilling non-productive time areas that the software currently addresses. The 3.5 software release continues to provide users with superior features with advance warning capability and enhanced data automation.
"The 3.5 release of DrillEdge software incorporates new functionality that enables detection of the warning signs of differential sticking. By continuously monitoring drag and torque with advanced event recognition algorithms, we are able to detect early indicators of wellbore stickiness and enable early intervention," said Marc Johnson, DrillEdge Product Director. "This solution allows users to mitigate the risk of becoming differentially stuck in real time."
