The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST)

The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) is set to play a key role at the Gastech Conference & Exhibition being held at London’s ExCeL in early October this year.

The Institute, a Gastech supporting organisation, will be presenting a day-long Floating LNG stream on Tuesday 9 October as an integral part of Gastech’s Centres of Technical Excellence (CoTEs), a free-to-attend technical seminar programme on the exhibition floor. The Floating LNG CoTE stream will examine recent technological developments aimed at overcoming the unique design and safety challenges posed by operating an LNG plant at sea.

“Gastech’s CoTEs are dedicated to delivering knowledge, education and awareness of technological innovations – so there is great synergy between their aims and ours as the leading international membership body and learned society for marine professionals,” says IMarEST’s Chief Executive, David Loosley.
