Norway-based survey outfit SCAN Geophysical said Tuesday it had erased a fourth-quarter 2007 loss to post a NOK1.9 million ($400,000) profit in the first three months of 2008, citing new contracts and “flexible payment schedules for seismic” kit.
The result was achieved on revenues in the quarter of NOK116.7 million ($), up about NOK14 million over the year-ago period.
The company recently reported a contract with PetroVietnam in the Carribbean for its new-build survey vessel MV SCAN Stigandi.
