MAN Diesel & Turbo acquires Mecos Traxler

MAN Diesel & Turbo

MAN Diesel & Turbo Schweiz AG has completed the acquisition of Swiss based magnetic bearing specialist Mecos Traxler AG

Following several years of joint research and development and a first successful compressor train installation with Mecos’ magnetic bearing technology, a further step towards a close partnership has been taken.

The acquisition by MAN Diesel & Turbo’s Oil & Gas Business Unit in Zurich (Switzerland) will further push the joint growth, especially in the Oil & Gas business.
