TNK-BP replaces 129% of production with new reserves

TNK-BP has signed a cooperation agreement with the government of Yaroslavl region in Yaroslavl. The document was inked by Yaroslavl region governor Sergey Vakhrukov and TNK-BP executive director German Khan.

The agreement establishes a bilateral partnership to ensure an efficient supply of oil products to the region and commits the parties to work together to address socio-economic issues on which the sustainable development of Yaroslavl region directly depends. In particular, TNK-BP has committed to maintaining uninterrupted supplies of heating fuel for the residential sector and social facilities during the 2010—2011 heating season, and to supplying fuel to agro-industrial enterprises and other important sectors of the economy of Yaroslavl region.

The signed agreement is a natural extension of two years of cooperation between the regional government and TNK-BP in many areas of the region’s socio-economic life. In line with earlier commitments, during the 2009—2010 heating season TNK-BP kept Yaroslavl region fully supplied with fuel, delivering 40,000 tons of fuel oil and diesel worth 350 mln roubles to the housing and utilities sector.
