Oil and gas professionals in the North East are being urged to take advantage of an upcoming opportunity to equip themselves with the skills, flexibility and contacts to adjust to the challenges currently facing the industry.

A group of industry experts will come together to present the special networking event, entitled: ‘How to Adapt as a Young Professional in a Changing Economic Environment’. Due to the drop in oil price and subsequent feedback from young professionals, the event will focus on career adaptability and will include a series of presentations from:

· Chris Dunridge, director and principal HR consultant, The People Practice

· Richard Knox, managing director of East Coast Oil & Gas Engineering

· Robert Cowman, engineering director, East Coast Oil & Gas Engineering

· Jim Lenton, project delivery director at Amec Foster Wheeler
