Bredford Dolphin-2

AGR Petroleum Services is to continue its three and a half year long association with the semi submersible drilling rig Bredford Dolphin after securing a contract to manage a two well drilling campaign on behalf of Lundin Norway.

AGR PS has entered into an agreement with Lundin to undertake a 120-day drilling project on the Norwegian continental shelf.

Steinar Berg, AGR’s Vice President of Well Management said: “We have successfully undertaken drilling activity on behalf of Lundin in recent years and welcome this opportunity to work with the company again. It is a confirmation of our team’s experience that we have been selected to assist in this drilling program.

“Over the last three and a half years we’ve achieved a fantastic track record using the Bredford Dolphin and look forward to delivering this campaign.

AGR Petroleum Services recently celebrated a landmark industry achievement when it drilled its 400th well in a decade on the Bredford Dolphin. The accomplishment underlined the company’s position as the most experienced independent well management company in the world.

AGR is scheduled to begin the activity immediately to be ready for the first possible start up date for Lundin.
