AGR secures multi-client drilling campaign on Bredford Dolphin

Drilling rig Bredford Dolphin

Global oil and gas service and technology provider AGR will coordinate a multi-well, multi-client drilling campaign on behalf of four international operators. The expected revenue from AGR engagement is NOK 130m.

The company, which pioneered the multi-well, multi-client drilling model in 2007, will provide well project management and operational support on behalf of RWE Dea Norge AS, Lundin Norway AS, Norwegian Energy Company ASA and Repsol Exploration Norge AS.

The semi-submersible Bredford Dolphin rig has been contracted from Dolphin Drilling AS to undertake the drilling activity, which is expected to start in October next year and has an estimated firm duration of 570 days for the eight Wells firm programme.
