AGR signs cooperation agreement to strengthen engineering capabilities

AGR Petroleum Services

AGR Petroleum Services has enhanced its engineering capabilities in Process Systems and Topside Utilities by signing a cooperation agreement with Norwegian engineering company M7 Offshore A.S.

The agreement compliments AGR Petroleum Services offering in Front-end engineering and management assistance in Field Development projects on behalf of its oil company clients.

M7 Offshore employs 25 engineers with significant experience in multidiscipline System Engineering and Layout as well as detailing of hydrocarbon processing. M7 (M seven) provides Project Management and detail engineering services to the oil & gas industry, with focus on process plants (Topsides), modules and skids for Floating Production Storage & Offloading units (FPSOs).

In 2007 AGR Petroleum Services AS formed a field management cluster with Havtroll AS and Scandpower AS enabling a full service offering in subsea infrastructure design and robustness analysis. With the new addition of M7 Offshore to this cluster, AGR Petroleum has extended its services in Tie-back projects to include both subsea and topside facilities delivery management.
