Proserv has recently been awarded a three year agreement with Aker Solutions worth approximately 18 million NOK. With projects ongoing throughout the world, Aker Solutions have contracted Proserv to provide high pressure and high temperature components for their subsea christmas trees at the Dalia, Visund, Morwin and new rapid threes.

Aker Solutions has decades of experience in subsea tree technology, specialising in dual bore, horizontal and monobore tree systems. In fact since the 1950’s they have provided over 650 trees for the offshore industry. Each of these tree systems are designed for pressures up to 16,500 psi and temperatures ranging from -40F to 350F, as well as being qualified to depths of 10,000ft.

Aker Soulution´s RapidSolution was launched in September 2007 as a pre-configured system, with a dedicated stocking programme, that aims to provide a complete well set within a fraction of the traditional system lead times.

Aker Solutions’ ‘RapidSolution’ was launched in September 2007 as a preconfigured system, with a dedicated stocking programme, that aims to provide a complete well set within a fraction of the traditional system lead times. The systems are going to be built at Tranby (Norway) and in Pulau Indah (Malaysia).

The RapidSolution is a complete well system that consists of a subsea tree, subsea control module, wellhead and a tie-in system. Proserv´s components are going to be used in the subsea tree systems, as a device used to control flow from subsea oil and gas wells.
