Wood Group's Alliance Engineering (Alliance) has named Roser Segarra to the position of chief financial officer (CFO). Ms. Segarra is accountable for the administrative, financial, contract and risk management operations of Alliance.

Ms. Segarra has more than 10 years of accounting experience in the oil & gas industry, most of it in a senior or managerial position. She transferred to Alliance from sister company Wood Group Engineering (North Sea), in Aberdeen Scotland, where she last held the position of financial controller. Ms. Segarra is qualified by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and holds a degree in business administration from the University of Sarriko, Spain.

"We're very happy to have Roser at Alliance," said Edmund Lunde, president of Alliance. "Roser's experience, along with her keen focus on financial, contract and risk management will help support Alliance's performance as we expand our service offering in the international oil & gas markets.
