Amerisur Resources provided an update on operations in Colombia. The Company confirmed that Platanillo-9, the fourth well in a planned campaign of eight wells in the Platanillo field, has been successfully drilled to a total depth of 8,689 feet, achieving an offset of 1,485 feet to the west of the bottom hole location of Platanillo-3, with oil columns being encountered in the U and N sand formations.
The delivery of detailed logging and production testing results has taken slightly longer than originally planned and the Company anticipates being able to update shareholders more fully within the next week.
