Utsira High

Power from land could be a competitive alternative to use of local gas power on the Utsira High. This is indicated by a study carried out on behalf of the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD).

The consultant companies add novatech as and Unitech Power Systems carried out the area evaluation of power from land to multiple fields in the central part of the North Sea (Utsira High).

The included discoveries are Dagny, Edvard Grieg, Draupne and Johan Sverdrup. In addition, one unidentified future field has been included in the evaluation.
