The Energy Products Division (EPD) of Parker Hannifin Corporation has been awarded a contract by ATP Oil & Gas to provide subsea control umbilicals, terminations, electrical & hydraulic flying leads and related hardware for phases 3A and 3B of their Gomez field development in the Gulf of Mexico.

The Gomez field is located in the Mississippi Canyon area of the Gulf of Mexico in 3000 feet of water. EPD's Cabett Subsea business unit has been working with ATP since the initial development of the field in 2005.

During phase 3A, EPD will manufacture 6,000 feet of electro-hydraulic control umbilical with complete umbilical termination assemblies and flying leads. The second phase, 3B, will consist of 8,400 feet of electro-hydraulic umbilical for dynamic termination to the “Innovator” production facility, along with 9,100 feet of electro-hydraulic infield umbilical and the associated termination hardware and flying leads.

"The Parker Energy Products division is excited about our continuing participation in this challenging and novel field development," said Joseph Dunbar, Parker Cabett Business Unit Manager. "We have been working with ATP since they first began utilizing subsea technology for field development and are grateful for their continued confidence in our products and services."
