Aztec closes previous XII drilling program

Aztec Oil & Gas announces appointment of Franklin C. Fisher, Jr. as Chief Executive Officer-Spotlight

Aztec Oil & Gas, Inc., on August 31, 2012, closed a partnership under its Aztec XII Oil & Gas Drilling Program. The limited partnership, "Aztec XII-C Oil & Gas LP", is focused on drilling shallow wells for oil in Texas, and was the last partnership in the Aztec XII Oil & Gas Drilling Program.

A total of approximately $31,000,000 has been raised by Aztec in the last two programs. Aztec's wholly-owned subsidiary, Aztec Energy, LLC, will hold a thirty percent (30%) ownership interest in the XII-C Partnership by contribution, and will act as the Managing General Partner. Aztec Drilling & Operating, LLC, another wholly-owned Aztec subsidiary, will serve as the Partnership's drilling contractor and operator.
