Specialist Services Group has officially launched its hire fleet at an Open House Day held on 8th June, representing an investment of £1 million at its Labtech Services site at Altens, Aberdeen. The fleet in Aberdeen is part of an ongoing global investment on the part of the Group in excess of £10 million.

Offshore modular enclosure firm Labtech, which employs 90 staff across two sites in Aberdeen, was acquired by Specialist Services at the end of last year to support growing North Sea and international demand. Until three years ago, Labtech had operated a highly successful rental fleet in the UK Continental Shelf. Now the company’s new owners are committed to reviving and growing the rental activity once more.
