Aberdeen software company, C-SAM Ltd, has secured a six figure contract to provide drilling waste management specialist TWMA with a global business management system.

C-SAM design, install and maintain software systems which track, trace and control a business’s assets, including equipment and people.

TWMA provides integrated drilling waste management, engineering and environmental services to the onshore and offshore oil and gas sector and employs more than 350 staff at regional bases in the UK, Norway, Egypt, Libya, Dubai and the United States.

C-SAM’s OPS system will provide real time reporting and tracking of TWMA’s multi-million pound fleet of specialised drilling waste management equipment, giving senior management critical information which will improve efficiency and increase revenue.

The OPS system will also be used to monitor and manage TWMA’s extensive drilling waste management fleet and can provide an overview of how effectively assets are being deployed throughout the company’s international operations.

C-SAM managing director, Theresa Wheeler, said: “This is a significant contract for us and we are looking forward to demonstrating how our OPS system can increase control and visibility over TWMA’s assets, minimise downtime and increase utilisation of assets, both mechanical and human.

“TWMA is a company with ambitious growth targets and like all fast expanding companies it is vital to have proper control over its asset base to ensure it is working with maximum efficiency. The flexibility of OPS is ideally suited to companies looking to expand, as it is modular and can evolve in tandem with a client’s business needs.”

Graham Dickie, finance director at TWMA, said: “C-SAM was initially recommended to TWMA and after reviewing the application’s capabilities we were impressed with its ability to offer real-time asset tracking at multiple locations.

“As TWMA‘s international operations expand we are confident that this business management system will support our continued growth, improve operational efficiencies and allow us to continue to deliver a high level of customer service.”

TWMA is a world leader in the handling and treatment of oil based drill mud cuttings and associated industry waste materials.
