Cape plc has appointed Steve Good as a non-executive director and chairman of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 6 July 2015.
Steve is based in the UK and joins Cape with extensive international experience in the specialty chemicals and plastics industries. He is currently non-executive director on the boards of Elementis plc, Zotefoams plc and Anglian Water Services Limited.
Steve spent ten years with Low & Bonar plc initially as Divisional Managing Director of Plastics before leading the Group's M&A activity and then going on to head the Technical Textiles division before his final role as Chief Executive - a role he held from 2009 to 2014 when he retired from full time executive roles. Prior to Low & Bonar, Steve had a long career with BTP plc (now part of Clariant) in a variety of leadership positions managing international specialty chemical businesses. Steve is a Chartered Accountant.
