Claxton, an Acteon company, has reaffirmed its commitment to Aberdeen-based clients by opening an office in the city and appointing a sales manager to service clients in the area.
The new office, Tern Place House, is also home to several other Acteon companies based in Aberdeen. This local presence will enable Claxton to have close contact with customers in the area and deliver the responsive service that has become a hallmark of the business.
New sales manager, Nick Wood joins Claxton from Baker Hughes where he held the role of Business Development Manager for Drilling Optimisation. Nick has worked in the industry for over 21 years and has spent much of his career working for Halliburton.
Laura Claxton, Managing Director, Claxton, said, “We’ve made a concerted effort to find a candidate with the right mix of skills to service our customers in Aberdeen. I’m very confident that the experience Nick brings to the table will provide real benefits for local clients.
“Our ability to respond to customers with pace and efficiency is a key part of the way Claxton operates, so we’re delighted to be able to join the other Acteon companies based at Tern Place House in providing a more local service.”
Claxton is part of Acteon’s wider conductors, risers and pipelines offering and has been providing a range of engineering and services for pre-drilling through decommissioning to the offshore community since 1985.
