Clough Limited’s dedicated coal seam gas division, Clough Seam Gas, has been awarded an EPC contract by Arrow Energy for the installation of a compressor package at Arrow’s Moranbah Gas Processing Facility, located in the Bowen Basin, approximately 400km south of Townsville and 170km west of Mackay in Queensland.

The scope of work includes detailed engineering, procurement, preparatory civil works, piping and compressor installation (including electrical, instrumentation and control equipment) and pre-commissioning and commissioning support.

“This is a strategically significant contract for our Clough Seam Gas division and we will work closely with our valued client, Arrow Energy, to deliver successful project outcomes” said Clough CEO John Smith.

The Moranbah Gas Project is one of Australia’s largest operating coal seam gas projects and is a joint venture between Arrow Energy and AGL Energy. The Moranbah Gas Processing Facility is used to process gas for injection into the North Queensland Gas Pipeline.
