Bluestone Energy Services has named Mark Borowiec as its Director of Data Center Business Development. Mr. Borowiec will oversee sales and marketing for Bluestone's growing national Data Center Division and will be based in Bluestone's Minneapolis, Minnesota office.

As Bluestone Energy's Director of Data Center Business Development, Mr. Borowiec will focus on growing Bluestone's national data center efficiency practice and will be responsible for expanding the division into new geographic regions. Mr. Borowiec will prioritize strengthening existing data center relationships while forging new partnerships with potential clients and vendors.

'With over twenty years of experience in the data center infrastructure space, Mark is an excellent choice for accelerating our data center division's expansion into new markets,' said Peter Fairbanks, President of Bluestone Energy Services.

Prior to joining Bluestone Energy, Mr. Borowiec was the director of Mid-West sales for NER Data Products, a data center infrastructure solutions company. Prior to joining NER, Mr. Borowiec was regional sales manager for the Curtis Young division of the Turbon Group.

'I am excited to be joining such as well-respected energy conservation provider like Bluestone Energy,' said Mark Borowiec. 'Over the last few years, Bluestone's national data center efficiency solutions practice has become highly regarded by both vendors and end users, and I look forward to taking the division to the next level.'

Bluestone Energy's Data Center Division analyzes clients' existing facilities efficiency (e.g., supply side cooling systems, airflow management and lighting systems) and then implements equipment retrofit/replacement and optimization to reduce energy consumption, qualify for significant local utility incentives and maximize return on investment.

Since launching the data center division in 2009, Bluestone Energy has secured over $5 million in utility incentives and tax credits for its customers. For example, last year Bluestone Energy completed significant energy projects for a major healthcare provider and multiple efficiency projects for a national telecommunications company.
