Farstad reports Petrobras rehire

Petrobras has awarded a four-year contract to Norway based Farstad Shipping and the anchor-handling tug and supply ship AHTS Far Sea.

The 375 million kroner ($53.2 million) contract was the second reported today, after another Norway-based shipping outfit, Solstad Offshore, reported a similar Petrobras award.

The Farstad job starts this month and looks to be an extension of an existing contract offshore Brazil.

"The contract has been entered into at strengthening charter rate level," a statement said.
