ConocoPhillips gets consent to use Mærsk Innovator for drilling on Ekofisk

Mærsk Innovator

ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS has received consent to use the mobile facility Mærsk Innovator for drilling on the Ekofisk 2/4-B field.

Sidetrack drilling and other work will be carried out on six production wells.

Mærsk Innovator will be situated next to the 2/4-B facility and the drilling will take place through this facility.

The activity has a planned duration of approx. 800 days.

Mærsk Innovator is a mobile facility (jack up) operated by Maersk Drilling Norge. The facility was built at Hyundai in 2003.

The length of the legs is 205 metres and the facility can operate in water depths of up to 150 metres.
