Cosalt Offshore, a provider of lifting, tooling and maritime services to the oil and gas industry, has been recognised by the British Safety Council for its dedication to improving health and safety in the workplace.

Cosalt Offshore attained a merit level award after receiving a near perfect 59 points out of 60 during the stringent marking and evaluation process carried out by the council for the International Safety Award.

Rod Buchan, chief executive of Cosalt Offshore, said: “Receiving this award is a real honor, especially as we improved our performance and received such an impressive score. We are all very proud to have been given such recognition.

“Excellent QHSE management is of the utmost importance to the company - it is a continuous process and we are always striving to improve on the high standards we set ourselves.”
