Drillsearch Energy reports Haslam-1 new wet gas discovery

Drillsearch Energy

Drillsearch Energy Ltd advise that a new wet gas discovery has been made with the Haslam-1 exploration well. Operations are currently underway to case and suspend the well for cased-hole extended production testing to further evaluate Patchawarra Formation wet gas bearing sands.

Haslam-1 was the fourth and final well in PEL 106B during this drilling campaign, with one more exploration well to be drilled in PEL 107 which will complete this phase of Western Wet Gas Fairway exploration targeting the Patchawarra and Tirrawarra Formations located on the Western Flank of the South Australian Cooper Basin. Drillsearch Energy Limited holds a 50% interest in PEL 106B and Beach Energy (ASX: BPT) as Operator holds 50%. In PEL 107 Drillsearch holds 60% and Beach as Operator holds 40%.
