Drydocks World has reported that Chairman Khamis Juma Buamim had highly productive discussions with the Indonesian Defense Minister HE Prof. Dr. Purnomo Yusgiantoro on wide ranging issues of mutual co-operation within the maritime industry with a primary focus on potential partnership on projects for the coast guard and navy. Mr. Buamim was in a business trip tour to Indonesia and attended the Investment Summit in Jakarta, which saw large scale interest from industry and business leaders and high-ranking government officials.
“We have tremendous experience in servicing the maritime industry with leading edge solutions and are confident that we can offer great value and support the Indonesian government on naval projects. This is in the light we have been catering to navies on a global scale at various points of time and have high standards of project management and delivery that are essential for minimizing risks to naval programme budgets and timescales. Additionally, we are interested in knowledge and technology transfer to enable the design and construction of increasingly sophisticated high-end customized vessels,” Mr. Buamim observed.
