The EIC, the leading trade association for UK companies that supply capital goods and services to the energy industries worldwide, has appointed Mike Rolls as Chairman of its Board. Mike Rolls has held a number of senior positions at Siemens plc and is currently Director, Business Development, Sustainability and Government Affairs, Siemens UK Energy Sector.

Mike Rolls has had a long association with the EIC and has served on the Board for more than 15 years including nearly five years as Treasurer. He takes over the role of Chairman with immediate effect following the retirement of Steve Lee, Managing Director of the Industrial Division of AMEC Group Ltd. Steve was Chairman of the EIC from August 2007 until the end of April this year.

Mike Major, CEO of the EIC, said, “We are extremely fortunate to have Mike as Chairman of the EIC Board and I am very much looking forward to working closely with him to develop the EIC further for the benefit of our members.”
