Ensco plc reported that its U.S. Gulf of Mexico drilling rigs continue to operate and the Company is closely monitoring developments related to the oil spill. Ensco is taking necessary safety precautions to protect personnel and equipment, and is in close contact with the authorities.
Ensco currently has eight rigs working in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, of which two are operating in the area of the oil spill.
