E.ON has once again been named one of Europe’s top 100 employers. E.ON received the coveted award in Baden, Austria on 20 May 2009, from the Great Place to Work® Institute Europe. E.ON was ranked a commendable 10th position.

"The renewed improvement and our ranking among Europe’s top 10 employers confirm the high quality of our HR activities," said Mr Dänzer-Vanotti, Chief Human Resources Officer of E.ON AG. An outstanding assessment at European level is particularly significant because an employer’s appeal is increasingly important in recruiting the most qualified and talented staff internationally. "Such employees are crucial to our competitiveness," the CHRO stressed.

Only recently E.ON was pleased to receive another prominent award at national level. In the "Deutschlands Beste Arbeitgeber 2009" contest, E.ON likewise ranked among the ten best companies in its category. The CHRO sees no reason to relax the efforts being made. "We will continue our efforts to ensure attractive working conditions and development prospects not least in today’s challenging climate." E.ON is constantly honing its HR and management systems to ensure it remains an attractive employer for high performers and the best in talent.
