Aluminium Bracelet anodes for Phase II of Ormen Lange

Environmental Protection Engineering S.A. completed the production and delivery of Aluminium Bracelet anodes for Phase II of Ormen Lange project on behalf of StatoilHydro in April 2009.

Phase II of the Ormen Lange project, required two types of Aluminium Bracelet anodes; one of 16’’ and one of 6&5/8’’ Bracelets, these were installed by means of bolts and electrically connected with the pipe via a flat strap.

EPE S.A. designs and manufactures its anodes under the registered trademark "POLCOR®". The zinc and aluminium sacrificial anodes are produced in the company’s factory in Greece. The production of anodes complies with the highest internationally approved standards of quality, safety and is environmental friendly. The factory operates in accordance to the internationally approved standards and practices and quality control management specifications as defined in ISO 9001:2000, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001:2004. The production capacity of EPE S.A. is over 8,000 tones annually.
