EPiC Energy appoints Interim CEO and new Chairman

EPiC Energy Resources

EPiC Energy Resources says that effective April 18, 2009, the Board of the Company appointed John S. Ippolito, the Company's current President, to also serve as the Chief Executive Officer on an interim basis.

Also effective April 18, 2009, the Board appointed Alan Carnrite, a current director of the Company, to serve as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Ippolito and Mr. Carnrite replace Rex P. Doyle in both positions.

Mr. Doyle's employment with the Company terminated on April 18, 2009.

The Company and Mr. Doyle are currently discussing the possibility of an agreement to cover a potential severance package and other matters.
