Fabricom Offshore Services has marked a major safety milestone after recording one million man hours worked without a single reportable incident or Lost Time Incident (LTI).

The achievement spans Fabricom’s five-year history as well as work carried out onshore and offshore across the UK Continental Shelf and Norway. Since Fabricom was established in 2007, the company has also grown from around 10 employees to more than 320.

Martin Nesbitt, chief operating officer at Fabricom, said: “To record one million man hours is a considerable achievement in itself for Fabricom but to accomplish this without any incident is a significant landmark.

“It is also testament to the high levels of health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) awareness and people-focused culture that is embedded in Fabricom’s roots. We now look forward to building upon this exemplary track record through our commitment to further strengthening our HSEQ values and practises. Our aim is to attain the next one million man hours worked without incident or LTI.”
