Farstad purchases platform supply vessel

Farstad - Sical Torino

Farstad Shipping ASA has entered into an agreement to buy the platform supply vessel Sical Torino. The vessel is a VS470 MkII (3,570 DWT) built at STX Norway Offshore AS, Langsten in 2006.

It is a modern medium sized PSV suitable for years to come in the Indian Pacific markets.

The vessel is to-day trading the spot market in the North Sea. The purchase price is approx. NOK 150 mill. and we expect to take delivery of the vessel within end of September.
