GDF SUEZ E&P UK has appointed one of the most senior women working in the UK oil and gas industry to the position of Business Manager (external affairs and supply chain) within its leadership team.
Oonagh Werngren, a geologist with over 30 years of international experience and an MBE for services to the oil and gas industry, has been appointed in the post which will be based at the company’s operations centre in Aberdeen.
The position has been created as the operator pursues an ambitious growth strategy as major North Sea projects, including Cygnus and Juliet, approach sanction in 2012.
