Paradigm™ reported that Geopro Technology Limited has selected the Paradigm™ Sysdrill® suite as their internal drilling engineering solution. The decision was made after a comprehensive evaluation process conducted by the company. Geopro, a provider of engineering solutions to the oil and gas industry, will use Sysdrill to accurately model challenging wells to reduce cost and improve safety for the benefit of its operating company customers.

"Before choosing Sysdrill as our drilling engineering package, we had performed a comprehensive review of drilling engineering packages from industry leading software providers. We found that Sysdrill is easy to use and enables seamless engineering workflows that deliver results consistent with what we observe in the field," said Chimere Nkwocha, Geopro’s managing director. "Furthermore, Paradigm’s R&D organization has demonstrated their ability to quickly introduce engineering functionality to address the new challenges faced by the drilling engineering ‘user’ community."

The Paradigm Sysdrill suite of drilling engineering modules is delivered in a single application running within Paradigm’s Epos® integrated geoscience and engineering data management system. Sysdrill maintains a robust, scalable database from wellsite to corporate data store, including an option for rigorous user access control suited to large organizations.

"Geopro provides consultancy services to operating companies who drill complex ERD wells and its decision to use Paradigm Sysdrill acknowledges our software’s capabilities in this area," said Rob Innes, Paradigm’s director for well planning and drilling. "Paradigm values Geopro’s operational expertise and we look to enhancing our suite of well planning and drilling engineering applications in line with their business objectives."
