Glacier Energy Services has relocated its main business and manufacturing operations to customised new-build facilities in Glasgow, increasing its capacity and capability as part of its continued drive for significant growth across the UK and internationally.
Glacier’s three businesses - highly respected pipeline machining company Roberts, renowned welding services specialist Wellclad, and provider of specialist machining applications Site Machining Services - will each have a presence at the 23,000 sq ft unit at the £14 million Clyde Gateway East Business Park in Glasgow.
The new facility has been specifically designed and tailored to suit Glacier’s needs, in the delivery of a wide range of services to the global energy sector, including precision on-site machining equipment, weld overlay technologies, and specialist pipe machining and preparation services.
