Gulf United Energy commences drilling third well on Block CPO-4

Gulf United Energy, Inc.

Gulf United Energy, Inc. has filed a Current Report on Form 8-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission to report that drilling has commenced on the third well on Block CPO-4 in the Llanos Basin in Colombia.

This third well, the Zorro Gris, has been mapped with 3-D seismic technology and is located in the northeast corner of the 345,592-acre block.

The total measured target depth for the Zorro Gris well approximates 13,000 feet, with the primary objectives being the Mirador, Guadalupe, and Une formations.
