HOIDI International Pte Ltd, production division, Tianjin HOIDI Group Co. Ltd, have won work for the Rig Leg Fabrication & Construction of Two Additional Bestford Offshore Pte Ltd Gusto MSC CJ46-X100-D from China Merchant Heavy Industries (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd (CMHI), who will be constructing the rigs in Mazhou Island, Shenzhen, China. This units are T.B.N, and will go by Bestford 5 & 6 project title for now.
The scope of the work consist of the fabrication, installation, erection, extension & construction of a complete set of rig legs for the Two Jack Units. These Two Gusto MSC CJ46-X100-D-type drilling platforms, in addition to the current Four Bestford rigs in construction in CMHI, is used mainly for the offshore oil and gas exploration & production jobs. Also, these CJ46 units can operate in water depths up to 350 feet, which can be lengthened to 375 feet & drill at a depth of 30,000 feet. The delivery of these units are expected mainly in 2016.
