Aberdeen-based modular buildings expert Labtech Services has reinforced its safety credentials with a trio of QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment) accreditations from leading industry bodies.

Labtech - part of the Specialist Services Group, the global supplier of modular buildings and packaging solutions for people and equipment in the oil and gas industry - has achieved the seal of approval from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), SAFEcontractor and the British Safety Council.

The LRQA ISO14001:2004 Environmental Certification recognises companies which effectively manage their environmental impacts through commitments to pollution prevention, legal compliance and continual improvement and complements the company’s ISO 9001:2008 certification.

Managing director at Labtech Derrick Reith said: “This is an excellent achievement for Labtech and was one of our key company objectives over the last 12 months. As a responsible company we are committed to minimising the impact that our activities and services have on the environment, both now and in the future. Through a lot of hard work, focus and teamwork we have realised this commitment in the space of one year.”
