Sundance Energy reports well site accident

Sundance Energy Australia Limited

Sundance Energy Australia Limited advise that an accident occurred on December 9, 2012, during the drilling of the Sundance operated Leo Rother 16-4-11-1HW horizontal Woodford test well located in Logan County, Oklahoma, USA. The accident most unfortunately resulted in the death of an employee of the company contracted by Sundance to drill the well.

Operations at the well site have been suspended while Sundance, its advisors and isurers, and the appopriate local and US regulatory authorities complete a full investigation.

The company extends its deepest sympathies to the family of the deceased and all of those affected by this tragic incident.
