Ikon Science goes Brazilian

Ikon Science reports the formation of a Brazilian venture Ikon Science Brazil Ltd with Rio de Janeiro Company Geonunes to provide Quantitative Interpretation Services (QIS) and Geoscience Technology to upstream oil & gas companies in Brazil.

In addition to developing the industry leading RokDoc® QI software system, Ikon Science are renowned experts in rock physics driven workflows - being the first company in the marketplace with a comprehensive Carbonates rock physics solution and the firm’s expertise spans AVO, Inversion, Reservoir characterisation, Time lapse reservoir monitoring, Geopressure analysis and pore pressure prediction.

Ikon Science Brazil Ltd will be the 8th office for Ikon Science, alongside London, Houston, Durham, Boulder, Lagos, Kuala Lumpur and Perth (WA) further enabling the global reach to deliver the company’s commitment to discover and share new technology, products and know-how that create subsurface value.
