Intergraph® has been presented with the prestigious Best New Technology Award for its SmartPlant® Fusion solution at the Asia Oil & Gas Awards 2015, held on January 29 in Yangon, Myanmar. The win marks the second time SmartPlant Fusion has been recognised at the Asia Oil & Gas Awards, having scooped the Innovation of the Year Award in late 2013.
Intergraph earned the award by demonstrating how SmartPlant Fusion has revolutionised the management of legacy engineering information on brownfield sites – a considerable challenge for both owner operators and engineering contractors. Engineering data and documents may have been created over decades of the facility’s life cycle, being sourced from various contractors using different design and data management tools and standards.
